1. What Akirivent is

Akirivent is a digital platform for event professionals: venues, restaurants, planners, agencies. The account (the account holder) belongs to the professional, requires being at least 18 and is meant for professional use. For every generated event, the platform provides the whole chain: the planner for end clients (via link, no account), the digital invitation, guest RSVPs, their personal pages and the kitchen report. End clients and guests never create accounts: they access everything through links with unique tokens.

2. Credits and prices

One credit = one generated event, with its whole chain. The first event of every account is free. After that, you buy prepaid packs: 5 events = €445 (€89/event) or 10 events = €790 (€79/event), prices excluding VAT. VAT is added at checkout according to the buyer's country and tax status (for EU businesses with a valid VAT number, the reverse charge applies).

Credits are valid for 2 years from purchase; unused credits expire. Credits are not transferable between accounts. When credits run out, nothing is lost: the account, the calendar, existing events and all links keep working; only generating new events requires a new pack. We hold no one's data hostage.

3. Payment and taxes

Payment is made online, by card, through Stripe; card details never touch or get stored on our servers. Prices may also be shown in other currencies (RON, USD) at the processor's equivalent. VAT or local taxes applicable in your country are calculated and shown at checkout. Credits activate automatically once payment is confirmed. The invoice is issued with your company's details as you entered them at checkout (tax number, name, address); for Romanian companies, the electronic invoice is issued as required by law. If your billing details are incomplete, write to us within 5 days of payment.

4. Refunds and cancellation

Untouched pack (no credit consumed): full refund within 14 days of purchase, on request at our contact e-mail. Consumed credit: generating an event means the service has been delivered (links go live immediately), so a consumed credit is not refundable. Cancelling an event: the credit returns automatically if the cancelled event has no confirmed families; after the first confirmations, the service counts as delivered. Any rights that the mandatory law of your country grants you remain unaffected.

5. Your events' data: the roles

The data your clients and their guests enter through your events' links (names, menus, restrictions, allergies) is collected on your behalf: you are the controller of that data, and we are the processor hosting and processing it for you. Details are in the Privacy Policy. You commit to using this data only for organizing that event and in compliance with the laws that apply to you.

This article serves as the data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) between you (controller) and us (processor): we process event data only on your instructions, documented through the platform; our staff with access are bound by confidentiality; we apply the security measures described in the Privacy Policy; we use sub-processors only for hosting and delivery (Supabase, Cloudflare, Stripe for payments, Resend for account e-mails, Open-Meteo for weather only, with no personal data) and we notify you in the platform before changing that list; we help you respond to data subjects' requests; when the account is closed we delete your events' data (except what the law requires us to keep); on request, we provide the information needed to demonstrate compliance.

6. Fair use

One credit corresponds to one real event. The platform enforces technical limits: after the first confirmations or after the event date, the event's identity (clients, date) locks, families can no longer be bulk-deleted, and 30 days after the event it is archived (visible, read-only). Prohibited: unsolicited messages, circumventing technical limits, disrupting the service, and any unlawful use.

7. Availability and liability

We strive to keep the platform available at all times, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation (maintenance, infrastructure providers). To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the value of the credit pack the event in question belongs to. Event content belongs to, and is the responsibility of, the account holder and their clients.

8. Intellectual property

The Akirivent platform, design and code belong to us. The content you and your clients enter belongs to you; you grant us only the technical right to host and display it so the service can work.

9. Termination

You can close your account anytime, with data deletion (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend accounts that breach these terms, with prior notice where reasonable. Credits remaining upon voluntary account closure are not refunded, except untouched packs within the 14-day window.

10. Global scope, law and disputes

The service is available worldwide. The contract is governed by Romanian law, without affecting the rights granted to you by the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence. Write to us first at our contact e-mail: we resolve almost anything amicably. EU consumers may also contact ANPC (anpc.ro) and the EU online dispute resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr). Disputes not settled amicably go to the competent courts.

These terms are published in several languages for clarity; in case of discrepancies, the Romanian version prevails.

11. Changes to the terms

We may update these terms; the current version is the one published here. Packs already purchased are governed by the terms in force at the time of purchase.
